COURSE OVERVIEW
The Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Scheme SSSTS course is intended for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. It provides supervisors with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will highlight the requirement to promote health and safety to supervise effectively.
This course will be delivered live online via Zoom with a live instructor in ‘real-time’. This has many benefits to other cheaper online (self taught) courses that lack support and rely heavily on the attendee interpreting information correctly.

- How fires start and spread
- How fires can be extinguished
- Different types of fires
- The dangers of smoke and fire
- How to respond to a fire emergency
- How to use a portable fire extinguisher and fire blanket

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE
This course is suitable for anyone within the building trade. On successful completion of the course, delegates will be awarded a certificate of awareness, valid for 3 years.
