COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is aimed at anyone who uses abrasive wheels, or employs people who use abrasive wheels as part of their work. It covers different types of AW, safety in their use and how to identify the type of wheel.
This course will be delivered live online via Zoom with a live instructor in ‘real-time’. This has many benefits to other cheaper online (self taught) courses that lack support and rely heavily on the attendee interpreting information correctly.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Theory:
- Hazards, markings, storage and use, test and inspection, mounting, dressing and adjustment
- Overview of the Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
- Questionnaire and DVD
- Practical:
- Demonstration and exercises.
